Hoy les traigo un review que siempre había querido hacer. Si leyeron mi entrada sobre la posada lolita se dieron cuenta que salí con un Set de Brochas de edición limitada de Etude House. Estoy hablando del Etoinette Kit de 3 Brochas, por las cuales siempre había babeado.
Hello everyone! Today's post is about something I was very courious about. If you read my Lolita Xmas Party post you might remember I got a brush set at the meet. It is the Etoinette Limited Edition Makeup 3 Brush Set by Etude House.

Pero sé que las brochas se pueden conseguir en internet en distintos sitios y su precio ronda los $35 Dólares. Hay otras brochas (he visto fotos en blogs de belleza) pero ignoro cuanto cuestan o en dónde se consiguen D:
I got the set at a raffle Dani organized for My Lolita Style Staff, but I do know that you can get them on some online stores and the prices is around $35 USD. There are other brushes(I've seen pics on beauty blogs) but I don't know where to get them or how much they are.

Funda / Cover
Es de vinil, listón de falla y encaje sintético. Siento que pudieron hacerla más grande. Mis brochas se aplastan.
It is made of vinyl, cotton ribbon and synthetic lace. In my opinion it could be bigger. My brushes are all squeeshed.
Brochas/Brushes
Vienen con protectores de plástico. Comparadas con la mayoría de las otras brochas que tengo, éstas son muy pesadas. Los detalles son simples pero de muy buena calidad. Los cabellos son de cabra. El producto se aplica súper bien. Realmente puedo notar la diferencia entre éstas brochas y unas que tengo de Ebay y unas de la marca CALA. Las pondría al mismo nivel que mis brochas de las de las marcas MAC, Estee Lauder y Mirabella, en cuanto a suavidad y que tan efectivas son para aplicar el producto. Aunque siendo sincera hubiera preferido una brocha para sombras o algún difuminador en lugar del pincel para labios.
They come in plastic covers. Compared to most of my other brushes these are really heavy. They are made of goat hair and the simple details are very high quality. Product is neatly applied. I can really tell the diference from my ebay brushes and CALA brand. I wouls say I could pair them up with my MAC, Estee Lauder or Mirabella brushes in terms of softnes and efectiveness. I really like them, but I would have LOVED the set if it came with a blender or an eye shadow brush, instead of the lip one.
¿Debería comprarlas? / Should I buy them?
Si eres nueva en la onda del maquillaje creo que deberías esperar y comprar con ese dinero un set de brochas más económico al cual le darás más uso. Cada brocha sirve para una cosa y al principio posiblemente no notes la diferencia de calidad. Varias personas que las han visto piensan que solo son brochas bonitas y caras. Sus exactas palabras "Sirven para lo mismo y yo no las compraría por el precio". Pero si ya tienes algo de experiencia, algunas brochas básicas en tu colección y te gustaría darte un lujo, el set es una buena opción.
If you are new to makeup I would suggest you get a cheaper brush kit first to build your collection. Brushes are meant to be used for specific tasks, and if you are starting out you probably aren't even going to be able to tell the diference in quality. Many people who have seen my brushes (and I am quoting them) say "They are pretty but I am not willing to pay the price when there are cheaper options that will get you the same results". If you have the money for a little indulgence and have some sort of brush collection started I say you should totally go for them, because they are a very good option and it is so worth the money.
