Recently I took my yearly vacations, like every may. Last year I got my plane tickets just as I returned from Cancun, but the real planning really didn't start until this year's january. It was horrible. A super hassle and I wanted to quit sometimes, but everything was worth it in the end!

So I had to fill out some forms and documents while going out ofice the country and hand them out when I got to Costa Rica. Everything was very easy and smooth, agents in Costa Rica were very nice. After all was done and I was legally in the country, I had a private van pick us up and we still had to travel 3 more hours to La Fortuna,a small town at the base of a Volcano.
We spent most of our trip there. It is a small, cute and safe town. We did a bunch of things! Rafting, various hikes to volcanos, the observatory, hanging bridges, and a lot of waterfall sightseeing. After that we moved out of town to rest at the hot springs in Bladi.

Finally we had to say our goodbyes to La Fortuna and Baldi. Again a private van picked us up at the hot springs to take us back to the city. Since we arrived a bit late we just checked in and did a small tour at a near plaza.

The next two days we spent it wandering around the capital. A lot of malls later (which I really didn't care since we have huge ones in Tj and SD), a lot of restaurants, taxi and uber drives around town (since it was raining we couldn't walk much) a small coffee break at Teatro Nacional and a quick photoshoot with Marie Cherie; I was back at the airport. Had to pay $29 USD fee to get out of the country and get back to Mexico.

Costa Rica is a gorgeous country. It is perfect for sightseeing. Everything is green. It rains a lot and the climate is changing every few hours. Food was ok, a bit simple for me since I am super used to colorful and flavor explosions in Mexico. People are super nice. It is a very safe country, but of course you should be on guard at all times.

NOTE: While planning my trip I had a few difficulties finding info about certain sites, the currency, transport among other things; so I decided to come up with a help post with everything I learned in my trip. I hope to help other people that want to go plan their trip. In the meantime if you need help feel free to send me an email or a message via facebook or twitter.
