En la entrada de hoy les contaré algunos detalles jugosos de los que Rin Rin nos estuvo platicando en su Talk Show y otras cositas de las que nos enteramos cuando pudimos platicar 1-1 en el Tea Party.

Today's post is about some juicy facts Rin Rin talked about on her interview and some other random things we got to hear on our 1-1 moments with her at the Tea Party

Su vida personal / Personal Life

-Rin Rin creció en Los Ángeles.

She grew up in the L.A. Area.

-Nunca probó las hamburguesas hasta hace poco. Ahora las ama.

Hamburgers never crossed her mind. She tried them out recently and now they are her favorite food.

-Sus padres eran muy estrictos mientras ella crecía.

Her parents were very strict while they raised her.

-Tiene un conejito que su madre cuida mientras ella trabaja en Japón.

She owns a pet rabbit. Her mother takes care of it while she is in Japan.

-Su primer vestido de marca fue Kira Kira de Angelic Pretty. Un vestido que modeló en una pasarela y al bajarse decidió comprarlo.

Her first brand dress was Kira Kira by Angelic Pretty. A dress she modeled for a runway, and then decided she wanted to buy.

-Cuando se graduó de la universidad sus padres le dijeron que podía hacer lo que quisiera. Se hizo rayitos y se perforó las orejas.

When she graduated from college her parents told her she could do whatever she wanted.She got highlights and pierced her ears.

-Se considera una persona muy afortunada.

She thinks she es a very lucky person.

Descubriendo el lolita / How she discovered lolita

-Un amigo que fue a Japón trajo Gothic & Lolita Bibles. Rin Rin no sabía nada del lolita. Le pareció lindo y dijo que en ese entonces pensaba que tal vez un día podría vestir así. Pero no le dió mucha importancia.

A friend of hers went to Japan, and brought back Gothic and Lolita Bibles. Rin Rin discovered lolita but at that time she only thought it was cute and maybe someday she could try it out. Not much thought was given.

Su carrera como ícono lolita / Her carrer as a lolit idol

-Un amigo la anotó a una convocatoria de un fashion show en PMX hace años. Logró que la selecionaran. Allí conoció al dueño de Angelic Pretty.

-A friend put her on the fashion show on PMX a couple of years ago. She got picked and that's how she met Angelic Pretty's owner.

-Su primer trabajo para Angelic Pretty fue modelar anuncios que fueron publicados en Alice Deco.

Her first job modeling for Angelic Pretty were some ads that were published in Alice Deco.

-Una vez que modeló para ciertos catálogos para Angelic Pretty el mismo dueño la introdujo a otros diseñadores y revistas.

Once she modeled for a couple of Angelic Pretty Catalogs the owner introduced her to other designers and magazines.

-Una vez modeló para Kera Shop y se puso los pantalones al revés. Tuvieron que repetir la sesión.

Once she was modeling for Kera Shop and she put her pants the other way around. The photographer had to shoot her pictures again.

-Grabó un single hace tiempo. Pero cambió de agencia de modelaje. Como la canción fue grabada bajo contrato con su antigua agencia el proyecto de lanzarla como cantante esta en hiatus.

She recored a single a while ago, but changed to another modeling agency. Since her single is still under contract with her old agency her career as a singer is on standby.

-Dijo que nunca había estado tan cerca de una muñeca de Angelic Pretty. También hizo el comentario que las consideraba caras.

She mentioned that it was the frist time she was so close to an Angelic Pretty Doll. She also commented that they are pricy.

Adaptandose a Japón / Getting comfy in Japan.

-Nos dijo que no tuvo choques culturales fuertes. Estudió japonés un año antes de irse y se dedicaba a imitar lo que el resto de la gente hacía, para evitar problemas.

She never experienced hard cultural gaps. She studied japanese a year before leaving America and when she arrived she would imitate what people did around her, so she never got into big trouble.

Pasatiemopos /Hobbies

-Ella disfruta mucho bailar.

She enjoys dancing.

-Le gusta ver películas.

She likes watching movies.

-No juega videojuegos pero le gusta observar a sus amigos jugar.

-She doesn't play videogames but enjoys watching her friends play.

-Cuando estaba en la universidad un amigo era Game Master en Ragnarok online y le regaló una membresía de tres meses. Dice que le encanta el juego pero que es muy enviciante.

-When she was in college a friend who was a Game Master on Ragnarok online gave her a 3 month trial account. She loved the game but never played again. She thinks it is too time consuming.

-Le encanta Disneyland.

She is a huge Disneyland fan.

-La consiera una persona muy formal y dedicada enteramente a su trabajo como idol lolita.

-She considers her a very formal person and dedicated to her job as a lolita idol.
