Which are the best Circle Lenses?

saben bastante sobre ellos. Sin embargo varias personas no se animan
a dar el salto y ordenar su primer par. A traves del tiempo me siguen
llegando preguntas de gente que me pide consejos para elegir el mejor
modelo.

already know almost everything you need to order your own pair.
Despite all that info in the past few months I've been getting a
handful of messages asking for my opinion or recomendations to get
the best lenses out there.
Lo primero que yo les aconsejo es
obviamente ir al oftalmologo a preguntar si pueden usar lentes de
contacto. Una vez que obtienen luz verde pasamos al siguiente paso.
The first thing you will have to know,
and there is no way around it; is to find out if you can actually
wear contact lenses. Once your doctor says it is okay you can go to
the next step.
Presupuesto / Budget
No hay nada mas feo que nos guste algo
que no podemos costear, asì que establece cuanto tiene para invertir
en unos lentes. La mayoria de las tiendas te permiten hacer una
busqueda por precio. A este recuerda agregar el envio (generalmente
5-8 dolares dependiendo de la tienda). De esta manera puedes elegir
unos lentes que te gusten dentro de tu prespuesto.
There is nothing shittier than falling
in love with an item you cannot afford. So set your budget for
lenses. Most stores have the option to make a serch through price.
Remember you have to add shipping (normally 5-8 dollars, it varies
from each store). By doing this you can choose a pair of lenses you
like that won't break the bank.
Marcas / Brands.
Yo recomiendo GEO (por su facil sistema
de autentificacion), comodidad, variedad, precio. En segundo lugar
pondria EOS, son lentes muy comodos pero el precio a veces es un poco
mas elevado, y no hay tanta variedad. Vassen e iFairy tambien son
buenas y las recomiendo. Miomi es china pero es una marca con
estandares de calidad y certificaciones. La recomiendo aunque pocas
tiendas la manejan.
Los invito a que se mantengan alejados
de varias marcas chinas piratas (de las cuales pueden leer mas aqui)
y de los lentes de DUEBA. Ultimamente he leido reviews de bloggers
que han tenido problemas de la vista debido a lentes defectuosos de
esa marca. Aunque posee certifiaciones sus ultimos lotes han salido
con problemas y es mejor mantenerse alejado en lo que se compone.
I recommend GEO (easy anti-forgery
system), comfort, variety, price range. Second I would say EOS. Their
lenses are super comfy, but the prices are a bit higher, and variety
is not that great. Besides not all stores carry them. Vassen and
iFairy are realiable brands also. Miomi is chinese but has
certifications and high quality standars, so I do recommend them The
only downfall is not much stores carry it.
Please stay away from cheap chinese
brands (you can read more on that here) and DUEBA lenses. I have been
reading a few bad reviews from bloggers that had eye problems after
using defective lenses from that brand. They do have certifications
but their last batches had a bunch of defects.
Diseño / Desing
Si estas buscando un par para cosplay
puedes intentar con lentes llamativos y de diametros mayores. Ademas
de eso puedes darte el lujo de utilizar diseños locos, con
espirales, florecitas, simulacion de cristal, etc.
If you are looking for flashy lenses
for your cosplay you can play a bit with bright colors and go for
bigger lenses. You can also take the risk and get lenes with crazy
desings, like spirals, or flowers or crystal effects.
Si tu idea es usarlos de diario o para
seguir estilos como el ulzzang, con modelos simples que tengan un aro
negro o aquellos que manejan 2 o 3 tonos tienes mas que suficiente.
El diametro tambien es algo que debas cuidar.
If you plan on using them on a daily
basis or to follow simple styles like ulzzang, you should go for
natural looking lenses. Try out 2 o 3 tone lenses, they blend better
with almost any natural eye color. Diameter is something you should
also keep in mind.
Diametro / Diameter
Si vas comenzando unos lentes de 14 mm
son perfectos. Aunque si solo piensas usarlos un par de veces para
cosplay o fotos profesionales entonces podrias comenzar con 15 mm.
If you are starting out choose 14 mm
lenses. If you plan to use them for cosplay of professional pictures
every once in a while you can take a leap and start with 15 mm.

Lo cierto es que “los mejores lentes”
no existen. Depende de varias cosas: para que los quieres, cuanto
planeas usarlos, que tanto estas dispuesto a pagar, etc. Cada persona
y situacion son distintos. Y no porque a tu mejor amiga le gusten o
le sienten bien unos lentes quiere decir que tu estaras bien con
ellos.
There are no “best lenses”. Your
choice will dependo on various aspects, such as: what do you want
them for, how long you plan to wear them, how much you are willing to
pay, etc. Each person and scenario are different. If your best friend
has a pair of lenses they really like or suit them well keep in mind
that might not work for you.
